Passion Play Auditions

For the past 9 years the St. Christina Theater Troupe has grown tremendously. Each year as the life of Christ has been reenacted, more young people have become involved. The script has been lengthened and more characters added as more young people are attracted to developing their skills in theater. 

Much thanks goes to Vanessa Angone, one of our young adult leaders who had just received her Master's degree in Creative Writing from Columbia College. Her compassion for the theater and her deep commitment to her faith, has been a great blessing for this ministry. She has helped develop out theater program and has brought it up to a whole higher level.

We encourage any young person from Junior High through College age who are interested in theater to come and audition. While making this huge commitment, we promise that you will learn valuable acting skills along with having a great time! The parts run from small non-speaking to lead roles with tons of dialogue. 

If you are interested in developing your skills in the technical aspects of theater, we need crews for scenery, props, lighting, curtain, and sound. These crews are not needed on the same level of time commitment, but definitely needed to be able to commit for the two weeks prior to the play for final practices. 

As in the past, if you are interested in our other future productions in the plans for next fall, you will need to be involved in the Passion Play are a prerequisite.
